Our first journey in Erni was into the deep outback to 'Emu Creek holiday station' for a 3 days winter solstice festival, an amazing gathering of local and international  party people, brought together to celebrate the coming solstice (accompanied by a soundtrack of bassy psy-trance music)...we partied  hard for a couple of days until it all got a bit much, so we left in search of Cape tribulation...
