Today I was on the bus to the Puffing Billy.  We had another good driver again.

We stopped off for morning tea at Grants Reserve which had rosellas, cockatoos and galahs all flying around and waiting to be fed by the bus loads of people who turn up.  We had a chance for a photo opportunity after the morning tea.  The driver came out a bit later with bird seed and at one stage I had a cockatoo on my arm and a rosella on my head.  Everyone got a shock at that when they had a bird land on their head and sit there!  Seeing some expressions was somewhat amusing.  Anyway, after that my jacket was a bit dirty after the cockatoo was perched there eating out of my hand.

So then after a clean, we made our way to Belgrave for a half hour Puffing Billy tour.  It was fun as you were allowed to sit with your arm and legs outside the train.  Luckily the forest wasn’t too close to the train tracks!

We then stopped at a small town - had a brilliant shop - Geppetto’s which has brilliant puppetry and marionettes (which were just a little out of my price range).  But I couldn’t resist buying a couple of smaller pieces.
