So, I don't really think I should be promoting this type of behavior on a volunteer walk, but sometimes a girl has got to do what she can to get through. Our group is beat up. We are tired, achy, blistered and we have 10 more miles to go and it is raining. Last but not least, we have the craziest, never ending hill to walk up. The group decides we need to stop and have a couple drinks. We find this great resturaunt that Jen and I had visited the previous year called La Pinata, in Old Town San Diego, and we proceed to get a little bit of liquid courage to help us get up the hill. After a couple litres of Margaritas and some beers, we get up. Once again we are at the back of the pack, but we are feeling GOOD!
