Potipot Island, the little secret paradise!

.) Located around 241+km from Manila, Philippine's capital- that would be a 5+ hour travel- lay a small paradise "not so known" to many (even Filipinos) called Potipot Island

.) Only a few people know this place (at least for now)... It's a great place for relaxing and getting some quite moment. Imagine this: you can swim with the fishes, play with star fishes and little crabs, walk around the island in less than an hour; you only hear the chirping of the birds, the splashing of the sea water to the shore, the blowin' of the wind and the great laughter and stories of your friends! little paradise, isn't it?

.) Because only a few people go there, the water is so clean that you can actually see the corals and the fishes swimming!

.) Entrance fee to the island is only 20 pesos (yes, you're reading it right, 20 pesos!)

.) Potipot is so small that there are no inns or hotels, restaurants and facilities in the island (There is a small restroom though). I learned though that you can put up your tent and spend the evening there. But if you want to have the comforts of a bed and/or resort, you can stay on the mainland of Dawal, which is only a 5 min banca ride from the island.

.) Potipot is one great place to visit should you need to escape the busy streets of Manila
