We know each other just only about 6 months but seems like we know longer than that. I talked about my creative gang in this new advertising company. This company just started since January, I was joined after back from England then the others came in. We did a hard work, sure. Now we needed some places to help us to be relax. Then P'ozz said "what about Samed? Can we all go there?" So we asked our boss that could we all have one day off to the beach? And lucky that we've done good jobs for the company so he said "sure, i know you guys need a break!" :D:D: Thank you ka...

Actually we'd like him to go with us also and he'd like to but on the second thought he said "i'm like your daddy so if i went there with you, i should have pay for everything so i better stay in Bangkok" hahaaha smart hah?

This is not my first time to Samed Island, I think twenty or more. But it's near bangkok and easy to go. Sandra became a driver with her mom's car, toyota fortuner, that can contain us all - comfortable! :) If you don't drive, you can take the bus at Akekamai Bus Station. I think it's about 2-300 THB something. Usually it takes 3 hours from bangkok to Samed by bus. If you drive by yourself would be 2.30 or 2 hrs. But for us, by Sandra, we're there in 1.30hrs! Hahaha ... and yes, the police caught us because the speeding was 132 km/hr. We paid about 400 THB for the fine.

We parked the car at p'ozz's friend office. Then took the boat to our beach, Putsa Beach. The boat is 100 THB round trip. This boat can contain 35 people if i remember but when we're there i think there was about 50 people inside. Overload of course, safety thailand hah??

We chose putsa beach not because we like it but at first we want to stay at Tabtim beach because it's not that far and the beach is clean. But they don't allow us to book. So ... we had to stay near there. We can walk from putsa to tabtim. On the left of putsa beach is Pai bay. On the right is Tabtim beach. And two of them have party everynight. We're in the middle, sure we can't sleep in the night because people always walked pass our bungalos even at 5am!

And we just knew that these are the homo area :D They are full of them haha nice. It's nice because most of them are handsome and have a nice shape! :) Too bad that women isn't interesting for them :(

The room we stayed is 800 per night with the fan. It's not a nice room but not that bad. We don't know how it looks like until we're there. Toilet is small but ok. Last time i've been to Samed was 3 years ago, I think. At another beach i found 500 THB/night. But now, maybe it's impossible ... Everything is improved. There are many nice bungalos and resorts and the cost is higher than before. THai people often come here because it's near bangkok and easy to go. Lucky when we're there it wasn't rain. But on the last day, they said the storm is coming today and stay for 3 days from now on.... ooh!

We're here to relax. Sandra prepared everything for drink from home. Nice girl! They're all drunk since 4pm haha so we should make a move to fill up our stomaches before getting headache. We went to Tabtim beach for dinner. The food is yummy! Wow! Not because we're hungry but it really is. We ordered many dishes ... as we never eat before :D

There were too many people in the restaurant but they serve food so quick and the waitress are nice and polite. No doubt why it's always full of people. We finished Red Label that Jane brought us since afternoon, it's time for thai whisky now, Sangsom. Some people drink to make friends, some drink to build themselves to be fun, some just want to relax .. and we are the last some .. yes here to relax ... We can drink and sleep and drink it again in an early morning. (I'm sure some of you do too :)

Cheers!

At first we planned to go back on Sunday but p'ozz said we should have one day to take a rest at home before back to work again and we agreed, so everyone woke up early in the morning to do last minute stuff but me. I woke up late than the others because i couldn't sleep after peed last night. They already had breakfast - it was the first time we had food at Putsa bungalo. (We love Tabtim beach's food, it's great) But here is yummy also na. I had breakfast. If you come to Thailand, please understand that our american or english breakfast is quite different from you. Not the recipe or a kind of meat or set. we still have sausage, eggs, ham, becon, bread, juice - same but the quality and quantity are different if you don't stay in the 5 stars hotel or eat it at a good restaurant. :) I ordered american breakfast. It doesn't look bad but it doesn't match with the price. But ok, everywhere is the same. Don't complain, new. Follow the rule. (rule??? )

It was a sunny day. We were lucky that no rain here. Before we came it was raining hard everyday in Bangkok. I don't know if you ever heard about the storm surge in bangkok? The thing that they said was during August to October bangkok would become a water city. We're scared because it wasn't told by somebody but it was told my the Meteorological Department. But later they annouced that don't panic, it's less than 0.5% something for the storm surge to be happened and they talked about the fact and how possible it is. I don't understand why don't they think before saying something? Why they say it first and then give us an excuse later?? Most of thai people were already panic. Some who lived near the Chaopraya river they moved house. Some at south they moved the place because they're scared of second Tsunami. Ok, to be panic and to protect and prepare are different but as the weather is change all around the world. The world is hotter. We had tsumai before so we're scared more so it's good to prepare the plan B also. I know if it isn't happen today, it'll happen one day .. anyway.

We took speed boat back - it's the first time that i took speed boat from Samed Island to the land. But we're about 6 people so it's not that too expensive when we shared. Just about 10 minutes. Good! But I lost my phone. When i walked to speed boat, the boat was shaking by the wave. I slid and fell down in the sea. Well! My bag, my ipod, my phone, my cam! I was panic. My canon cam was broken before because drank too much coke (i mean i dropped coke on it) so I can't lose this one again! Please ...

Ok, most of everything is fine because the bag covered them but my phone. ... #^%$&@!!!

...

We had lunch at Nong Ice seafood restaurant, it's near Ta-pay pier. Seafooooood is always good. We ordered many shell dishes, i don't know why - maybe we wanted more power haha ... ok time to go back. Now the clear sky became dark. We can't trust the weather indeed. We drove back to bangkok but had to stop because it was raining since we got in the car. It's hard to drive because we can't see the road. The waitress at the restuarant told us that the storm is coming from today for 3 days. Lucky us that we already leaved Samed anyway ... because we don't know if we can go back if the the storm comes?

Three days passed fast ... we have to back to work again??? Don't know if it's the last trip for all of us or not. If there still has a company trip on the last week of Novemeber as my boss said, so this is not the last. But after we're back from Samed, there's a mess in the company. We all have to help each other and work harder so I don't think our boss will let creative team takes days off at the same time anymore ...

Back to bangkok safely. It was raining in bangkok also. I miss the beach, I miss the beach .. even i can't go with them, I will plan for my own trip again for sure.

I don't understand why can't I sleep when I stay home but here was smooth. I went to bed since 9pm and woke up about 8am! Thought am here for school camping or what?!

I didn't touch the sea yesterday, so today yes! In front of our bungalo has no beach but can walk down and swim but full of rocks, i tried to swim but it hurts my feet ... but the sea is really clean and the weather was really nice. Jane followed me every step because she wanted to take my pictures when i wore two-piece!!! You're really sick Jane! ;)

Same as yesterday, just chilling, drinking, and gossiping hahahaa ... it's nice here for one thing that we can see people walk pass by. We just sit and drink and talk, no other excercises. I gain weight for one or two kilos for sure, i didn't check anyway. But u know ... we never stop eating because there are many food sellers came. They are ocal - it's not easy for them to come to work here also. If you see an old lady or a young boy or whatever with the basket of food and wear the jacket like the motorcycle taxi in bangkok - they have to pay to come to work here. I asked one guy, he told me he paid 15,000TB per year to come to sell eggs here. :O Everyday he goes back to the land and back here to sell to the tourist. He said it's better than work in the land anyway ... Wow ... life!

Now everything is about money.

Samed island is the national park. Everyone has to pay the ticket for step in. Thai people is about 20 baht per person. Foreigner is 10 times more. I think this is too much. Everywhere in Thailand, they will charge foreigner more. I'm ok to charge more but not "too much" like this. Ten times??? Even i'm Thai but i don't think that is fair.

Samed has many beaches. I've been to Pai bay, stayed at Jeb's bungalo. The food is good! Many tourists stay there - it's not far from the pier and there's a nice pub nearby. I've been to Wai Beach. It's a private beach, just only one resort there. It's good because in front of the bungalo is the beach. You can walk to the sea anytime you want. It's your private zone. But it's not good when you want to eat because they can't serve every table in the same time. If you late for one minute, means your food will serve one hour later.

The first time for me was at Whitesand Beach. You can walk from the pier. At that time I went with my friends from the university. I don't like this beach much because it's crowded. I remember there was one big group of korean came and stayed at the bungalo behind us. On my second day there were two korean men and one thai lady boy who wore bikinis. Haha and they took the sexy video clip!!! They don't see my friends and I because we were hiding in the room and watched them from our window. So we watched the sexy clip for free ... don't have to waste time to download somewhere hahahahahahahahah!

My favorite beach on Samed is Lung Dam beach. I love the old bungalos they had. I have talked to the owner "Lung Dam" once. He said he wanted to rebuild them because they're too old, no one wants to stay in the old place. I know but i love it ... now the place became cement not the wood. It used to be bungalos but now became resort. It's nice for development but something is missing by that also ...

Well, tomorrow we're back to bangkok, hate that thought really. Another good memory (isn't it?) for tonight was .. I woke up at 5am and really wanted to pee. So i went to the toilet. The toad was there, a big one! He sat in front of the toilet bowl, looked at me! Scary yes. I was tryting to do something but there's no place to chase him away. He would jump into me for sure if i made a noise. I don't want to make any noise also because i don't want to wake Jane up. I really wanted to pee so i looked for a plastic bag. You may think why don't I go out to pee? Because I still heard people walk pass by. They're back from the bars - as i told you we can't sleep because they're walking all night. I thought about to pee on the beach but i am scared. (because it's dark, and not only people that scared me but a ghost (if there has one) also). So plastic bag could help. But then the toad jumped!!! Gosh!!

Ok! Outside!

I waited until people are gone. Looked for the nice place to pee. Yes, in front of the room near the tree. I tried to sit with a normal position like I just sit and do nothing. It worked. But while i was peeing, I heard another group was walking to me - had to hold my pee again!!!! (It's incredible that I can hold it hahah and nothing's wet!) They looked at me strange. Maybe they wondered why i was there alone at 5am! Or thought that am i a human or spirit??? After they're gone, i started peeing again. But one of them stopped and looked at me! What!! I just wanted to pee!!!!!!

Wow!

I shouldn't drink too much water before going to bed, really!
