Another day of laying on the beach, we've got a plan tomorrow of actually doing something. We've been ganging with the Canadain's we met on the boat and are going to split a rental car up to the jaguar preserve about 50 miles north of here. We booked a dorm room for 2 nights at the reserve and it should be cool. The Canadain couple are cool, they run a circus in Toronto and have some interesting stories. more to come.

Its been a week since we left Colorado. We flew into Belize City last Tuesday and hopped on a little prop plane to Caye Caulker. Cool little place, you could walk up and down the island in an hour or so. We didn't really do anything for 2 days, which was nice, after I bit of a stressfull departure. First lesson learned of this trip, do not wait till 2 days before to try and pack everything you own and move out of your place(Thanks Maggie&Cardwell).

After 2 days in Caye Caulker we chartered a sail boat for a 3 day trip down to Palencia, Belize. There were 11 people including us and 2 crew on this little 25 ft boat. The first night we camped out on this little island Tobacco Caye which was only 100 yards long and 50ft wide. We snorkeled a few times along the way and I got to take out the spear gun and shoot at stuff. Were going to hang here another day then try to make our way up to Tikal to check out some Mayan ruins.
