I really hate to wake up so early but i have to, as i have booked for the Halong Bay 3 days 2 night Trip. We paid USD 51 for this trip. We will be staying 1 night on the boat and 1 day at Cat Ba Island.

After packing up, we went to the lobby to wait for the bus to pick us up. We were told that the bus will pick us up but end up we are in Van. The Van was delayed for 1 hour due to bad trafic jam.

It tooks us about TWO and Half hours to reach the Jetty and worst things is the van is really small, full of people and bags.

On arrival, it took us another 1 hour to get on the boat, but i think it is worth. It is so beautiful at Halong Bay.

We got to know two Japanese in the boat and we got to know that we have paid too much for this trip. Most people is payinbg for USD 43. We learn something today, we have to BARGAIN.

Halong bay is simply stunning.  My camera phone won't do it any justice.
