<p class="MsoNormal" style=""><st1:place><st1:country-region><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:country-region></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;"> is
one of the smallest countries in </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Europe</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">, and
ranked 175th in size of all the 194 independent countries of the world; the
country is about 2,586 square kilometres (998 sq mi) in size, and measures 82
km (51 miles) long and 57 km (35 miles) wide. To the east, </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">
borders the German Bundesländer of Rhineland-Palatinate and </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Saarland</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">, and,
to the south, it borders the French région of </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Lorraine</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">. The
Grand Duchy borders the Belgian Walloon Region, in particular the latter's
provinces of </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;"> and
Liège, more in particular the German-speaking Community of Belgium, to the west
and to the north respectively.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">The
northern third of the country is known as the 'Oesling', and forms part of the </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Ardennes</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">. It
is dominated by hills and low mountains, including the Kneiff, which is the
highest point, at 560 metres (1,837 ft). The region is sparsely populated, with
only one town (Wiltz) with a population of more than four thousand people.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">The
southern two-thirds of the country is called the "Gutland", and is
more densely populated than the Oesling. It is also more diverse, and can be
divided into five geographic sub-regions. The </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">
plateau, in south-central </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">, is a
large, flat, sandstone formation, and the site of the city of </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">.
Little </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Switzerland</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">, in
the east of </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">, has
craggy terrain and thick forests. The </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Moselle</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">
valley is the lowest-lying region, running along the south-eastern border. The
Red Lands, in the far south and southwest, are </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">'s
industrial heartland and home to many of </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">'s
largest towns.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">The
border between </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Luxembourg</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;"> and </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Germany</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;"> is
formed by three rivers: the </span><st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">Moselle</span></st1:place><span style="font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana;">, the
Sauer, and the Our. Other major rivers are the Alzette, the Attert, the Clerve,
and the Wiltz. The valleys of the mid-Sauer and Attert form the border between
the Gutland and the Oesling. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

      In the evening hours around 7pm we arrived and checked in to Novotel. Since was already dinner time, once we settled our luggage bags we headed to the cafe and have our dinner. The decoration in the lobby was very colourful and attractive. When the night falls we can't do anything much so went back to our room and enjoy our 'DIY Spa'.&nbsp;&nbsp;
