as we finished walking around the inner city of stuttgart, we headed to stuttgart central station and got a ticket to ludwgisburg, but i was hungry and i went to a fastfood counter in the central station (but first in the toilet :P saskia - dont tease me ok? hahahaa) so as we got our tickets and rode the sbahn, i was smelling goulasch soup all over :D - and saskia had been talking non -stop till we met :D hahaha, and i was even so engrossed in our conversations that i was even talking with goulasch soup dripping in my mouth :D.

so we arrived at ludwigsburg, i was there last year with my aunt, but she was so always in a hurry and just this and that things we did. but i remember the way to the inner city - ludwigsburg is a beautiful and orderly little city - the first thing that would greet you outside of the central station are old belle epoque and swabian style houses and its easy to find the castle because you just go straight down the main road - you wouldnt miss it. and mcdonalds had a very impressive building there, they integrated it to mix with the old history of the city - the building of mcdonalds is in baroque architecture. so impressive - oh and also subway! :D

we didnt walked directly to the castle, we took a detour in the alstadt, which is really small... along it is the "einkaufszentrum" or the main shopping square of the old town but eventhough that it is small - it is really charming and really in the time of baroque setting. we passed a street artist going to the plaza, but suddenly, our attention was caught by something - in a corner, a big air ball was moving and suddenly it went up, it was a mascot just resting in a bench! hahahaha saskia and me debated if its an apple or a tomato! hahaha it looked more like a tomato for me :D we started taking pictures of it! because it was funny and at the same time its disturbing me... it was an advertisement - and another woman came to us and asked us if were game to take a picture with it! of course were game! ;DDDD - that did it... it really did made a bond for the both of us - it was the highlight of our meeting :D that picture :D

and it was very surprising for a small city, it has VERY BIG plaza in the middle dominated by two beautiful baroque churches! and there was also a flea market but it started to pach up when we got there - in the middle was also an exhibit - but about having a healthy living :D wellllllll....... i live but i dont know if its healthy. hehehe saskia and me went inside and just goofed around.

so we were back to reality and time to find the castle, but saskia stopped in the flower stand, and asked the name of a flower that she was so interested in, and i am not sure anymore of the way to the castle and i asked her to ask the vendor where it was :P hehehehe but i was right and still remembered the way. and at the stoploght was an island and there were big hedgehogs sculptures and saskia wanted ME to ride them and take pictures with - hahaha NO WAY.

when my aunt and me went there last year, the main entrance of the castle was open and we can go inside the gardens but now, it was totally closed i mean we have to pay an entrance fee! well.... saskia suggested that we should not, because the weather is not that perfect and it might rain and we would get stuck in the middle of the humungous garden! she asked the lady in the counter if there is a free entrance to the castle and the lady said on the backside, and we walked there, it was a nice walk, because we were teasing each other hehehe.

at the backside entrance is the intricately designed gate of the castle - where the museums were also located - we took pics of it and one museum was open, where statues of the roman / greek gods where, saskia was afraid to go, because we dont have any tickets, but well................ i said no ones there so lets go inside :P (hahaha bad influence) so we went inside and admired stautes of diana, pan, apollo, zeus and many more statues from the castle of king wilhem of ludwigsburg. we cant go to the main castle because we need tickets... so most of our pictures were ONLY small wings of the castle, but THEY already looked like the castle itself but they were not.

after some foto session, saskia was HUNGRY AGAIN :P so we decided to go back to the plaza and find something... then she saw a classy resto and immediately decided to go there. hahahaha :P it was italian resto, and she was even complaining that it was much cheaper here than in switzerland :P hahahaha it was amazing because we were both thinking and ordering spagetthi pomodoro! we didt even said it to each other :D it was really yummy but didnt finished mine coz i was still full over that goulasch soup and in between saskia was teaching me again swiss german :P but i only remembered "mädchli" hahahaha

after a couple of hours in ludwigsburg, we decided to spent the last rays of the sun back in stuttgart, i suggested a bar - i was also there last year but i forgot the name and the place, but it was just behind the "cube" but after walking, i have to admit that we were lost, but saskia was game and said it doesnt matter, well go to the first bar we see - and we went to l'oassis, its very much the salon des amateurs look but with moroccan finishing. it was still early and not to many people inside. saskia ordered an alkohol long drink (with campari right?) and me the l'oassis drink. we sat in the pillows and just enjoying the day and the setting sun and relaxing ourselves from the walks we did. .. and hahahaha... saskia took out her slippers and showed her feet! boaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh it was sooooooooo CLEAN :p and she teased me about me being in the toilet 4 times :P.

but all good things must come to an end... we went back to the main station and said goodbye to each other, but it was not a sad ending, because we promised ourselves that somewhere, somehow we would see each other again - and hahaha she wanted me to dance, but i cant :P but i promised her too that if, then we would dance the pulp fiction style :D
