Refreshed and eager to arrive at the ski slopes we sett off for Mt Buller. We arrived at our ski lodge, which was pleasant enough, at mid afternoon leaving us enough time to get our bearings of the resort before nightfall.

The views of this wonderful mountenous region were awesome and the sunsets we were lucky enough to witness were something else. Orange, then Red and finally Pink, quite beautiful!

Now that we were her it was time to get stuck in and in the thick of things. We decked ourselves out in the necessary gear (ski boots are extremely difficult to walk in!!) and booked into the First Timer/Discovery lesson. The instructor was French and very funny...he kept us on our toes, figuretively speaking! Upon completing the lesson (walk, turn and stop) we were free to whizz down the slopes. Which of course, we didn't need a second invitation. So, we set forth, albeit on the slightly less steeper slopes, and gave it a good go...we all stacked it at some stage!! :-)

It was an amazing experience and one that we are all keen to do again. Which, we will at some point in the not too distant future! :-)

Now all that faced us was the 800km drive back to Sydney!!
