<span style="font-weight: bold;">It was a lovely day for visiting the grave of my grandparents. I haven't been there since i went to my grandma's funeral so it was about time. It's odd how you feel in good spirit going there and once you sitt down infront of the grave you feel like your eyes are filling up with tears. They didn't roll down my check but i could feel them pressing on. I went to get water to make sure the plant my mum had put there wouldn't dry up and would have a longer life to brighten up the stone. <br>I had a very good relationship to both of them so i guess that's why it felt like that, but i am really glad i went cause there is no excuse for me not to go back. <br><br>While i was in Hamar i decided to look around the areas i used to spend many long summers. It's kind of nice to reminisce a little of the past especially if there are good memories. <br><br>I was also born in this town so here are a few photos to show you Hamar:)<br><br>I was a little thirsty so i went to a cafe where i also borrowed the key to the bathroom. There was another lady there from Austrailia who i got chatting to while on our way down the stairs to the ladies:) She had been travelling for 3 weeks with her husband in Norway and loved it. SHe told me they were coming back next year for more so they could see the south of Norway as well. I told her would love to see her country as well but i will have to wait until my son, Kristoffer is older due to the flight. 24 hours is quite a ride for one with ADHD :) <br>I told her about TB that i've met up with an Austrailian here in Oslo as well as others and they've all been great people. She had also heard of the sight and thought it sounded great. <br><br>Well, after a few hours in Hamar it was time to go home and collect the goofood bag for the dog. He was starving at home so i guess a little&nbsp; reminiscing&nbsp; will have to continue while i drive home....... <br></span>

Arrived here hungry as wolfs from our day out at the winterpark. I phoned my Uncle Knut who lives in Hamar to ask him of any places to eat. This was not one of them LOL

My first impression was good and we did wonder if we could eat there dressed like mountain people:) I asked if there was a dress code and he just looked at me like he was deaf or something and just showed us to our table. Ok fair enough no dress code here:) The table and benches were a step up and to my surprise it was just on the edge of the floor leaving at least 40 cm of open air between the wall and us. Seemed odd to me but i guess every place has its own style:)

We got the menue and there were hardly anything to choose between. 2 dishes for fish, 3 dishes of meat and 3 disshes of finger food. So we ordered 2 Fajitas and 1 basket of buffalo. The buffalo basket was filled with union rings, buffalo wings and some other stuff. We also ordered 3 drinks (2 Coca Cola's and 1 7up) All this came to 634 Norwegian kr. I thought that was expencive for what they had to offer and for the service they had to give us. I can tell you right now i'm not going back there again.

The interior was decorated with dark wood and nice photos on the wall from Mexico so that was nice but i gotta say i had to push my bench and table closer to the wall LOL

<p>
The Gathering (TG) is one of the largest computer gatherings in the world. Here, 5200 computer enthusiasts meet for a somewhat unusual celebration of the Easter Holiday. TG has been around for 15 years, with this being the 11th year in a row it’s being held in Vikingskipet in Hamar.

The Gathering is the result of a challenge. After some more or less justified complaints aimed at other computer parties, the organizers of TG received the challenge: “If you think it looks that easy, why don’t you make a computer party yourself?”

Rising to the challenge, after a year or so of zealous preparations, The Gathering saw the first light of day in 1992.

World Class
Although Norway isn’t particularly large, we have, in the last few years, been able to create one of the world’s leading computer gatherings. From the very beginning in 1992, TG has been an impressive computer gathering, attracting loads of participants.

It didn’t take many years before TG could compete on the international arena, able to boast with the title “World’s Largest Computer Gathering”. For many years TG was superior in size, but in recent years that title has been passing back and fourth between TG and the Swedish “Dreamhack”.

TG is so much more than just a computer gathering, friendships are being born , love is in the air and the more grown up community goes and and drinks during the nights.</p>
