Well a Suggested donation of $2 adult and $1 for kids, comes at great price for all families! Plan for the whole day if you have kids. There a huge garden, zoo and kids play area. When I went the zoo last sept. 08, the polar bear exhibit was under construction. but I seen the old one and it was worth while. They have wolves, tigers, lions inside and out, a 30ft snake, giraffes, and proforming seals. The gardens are unique with ponds, variety of fish, and giant lily pads. Its a photo memory card full!
Pick a good day to go, there is little parking spread out, large crowds, and tons of bees in food areas.Worth it for a cheap day out in the cities.</p>

This was the beginning of a photo excursion for my sister's photography art class. We went around to some of the iconic places in Minnesota. We hit the state fair, Hamline University right accross the way in St. Paul. Then we made sure to get some of the cool buildings in downtown St. Paul, it's our capital, but it's not as big as Minneapolis....but since they're pretty much the same thing (hence the twin cities) it doesn't really matter. You can probably get cheaper parking in St. Paul though. Anyway, so we got the Fitzgerald theater, yes....that IS F. Scott Fitzgerald, he was one of ours. A Minnesotan....St.Paulite....cool guy. I really liked the Great Gatsby. Plus, unlike Charles Schultz, he actually liked the community, stuck around a bit, went to his theatre and liked Prarie Home Companion. We also made sure to get the capitol itself (ahh, reminisce about my internship) Oh and T. Paw, or Tim Pawlenty...coolest governor ever. Then we hit the St. Paul Cathedral and pretty much after that went on to MPLS.&nbsp;
