FIrst day of our holiday and everything went offsmoothly, we got up in time for the taxi even had time to have breakfast, but then again i did set 3 alarms.

Taxi journey was a bit unlike other journeys and i dont think claire and steph realsised as thew were talking in the back.... but i think our driver kept falling asleep at the wheel , which is a bit disconcerting!

Once we arrive at the airport we got to check in and the man behind the desk ask claire for another form of id as he didnt trust her photo on the passport! always a drama with claire at the airport.

We took off we landed all fine!

once we arrived at basel we got cash out, got train tickets, shopping etcand then we head the 2.5 hour journey to oberwil.

Soon as we got off the train steph releasisd her suitcase wasnt the most pratical to get round with as it was a pull suitcase not a trolley one, so we carried it.

SO this is where our story begins, at chalet baergfriede in oberwil im simmental home of the Fahrnis
