In every place I visit I always try to visit a McDonalds. I always want to know if there are any country-specific burgers and of course how the quality / pricing / atmosphere is. McDonalds Laganas, situated in the busiest bar-street of this town on Zakynthos Island, has only the standard menu's to offer. Unfortunately no greek burger here. The restaurant is all open at the front so you are seated semi/inside/outside :). The place has some airconditioning, but you only feel it on some of the seats. The place was not very clean, but clean enough. In summer the place is visited mostly by English youth. It was just okay. Nothing special.

Its already our last day in Zante=(!

We slept till nearly midday to catch up some sleep;) and then had lunch for breakfast:P!
Spent some time at the pool and in the afternoon at the beach!

A relaxing day of saying goodbye and buy the last things we wanted to bring home as memories!

Nastasia and Nicole wanted to go to the town once again to get some stuff for family and friends..so they went and we went for dinner alone!

Now we had one last thing to do: empting the alc bottles!! For that we sure had some help:P!
Our two "holiday loves"!!!:D they came over to our place and we had a good laugh and chattet till early morning...then my Paul and me went down to the beach to let the others alone:P...it was so romantic sitting there under  the sky watching all those million stars!

The next morning when we woke up tina and i looked at each other and then at the other sides of the bed and just laught out loud!..hang on, 2 ppl too much here right???..lol they were still here happily asleep while we packed up our stuff!

After a hard saying goodbye and some lil tears we got onto the bus and went back to the airport!
When the plane left Zante behind tina and i held our hands and just gave us a hug to put a way the tears!

It was def the best week ever and i cant wait for a next Schneggis holiday...wherever this is going to be!!!

I took home so many good memories and i also could go home without one of those cuddly turtels they sold at every shop as a souvenier..the turtels in Zante are called Caretta Caretta and only live around the isalnd!

We met ppl that will be in our heats for the rest of our lives and whenever we say Zante here as a motto for going clubbing we have too much fun...and we go after our motto: What happens in Greece also stayes in Greece..so everything is allowed:D

Today i could really do with a day of realxing an this is waht we did...just hang out at the beach!

That was good fun since we played silly games in the water like James Bond and Nastasia took me and followed an old lady trough the water...she was called Brigitte...when she turned around Nastasia just smiled and said: hello!:D:D we were about 1 meter away from her:P...i soo had to laugh! Somehow we then started singing "i've been looking for freedom" but we didnt quite knew the lirycs so we changed to Schnappi and stuff like that!

There was a lonly dog always runing around the beach and he got the name "Erika" (which makes him to a her:P)!
Other dogs were called: Lea, Peter and Lisi, Kusi and Mike!:P
As well as the guy on the boat trip who got the name: Porno Mike:P and the silly girl sitting on the boat was called: Schluchboot Susanne!:D

We found a name for everyone and everything:P!
My Videocam was of cours always following us and tinas singing and rapping...Jürgen ist Stolz auf diich!;)

We also did a lil shopping...tina and i went to a bag shop and the saleassistant looked at her and said: you have beautiful eyes! he couldnt stop looking at her utillhe saw me and said: you too!..lol thx but no need to say this to me...her eyes are far more beautiful!

In the evening we finally went to let our henna snail done!:P all the same lil snail since we call our selves Schneggis and this means snails! Under the snail we wanted out fake names!:D:D the guy was very friendly and gavehis best to make us happy:D..that snail was just toooooo sweeet!

No we had to wait an hour till it was dry and we could go clubbing....

...not exactly tooo fit we went outside the hotel to wait for our bus to bring us to the port. We've booked a boat trip to the blue grotts and the "schmugglerbucht" with that old ship!

It ended up being a nightmare for all of us since it took aaaages!!! We sat in the sun all day cause the shadow was filled with ppl...! It was sooo hot!

The fact that the water in those blue grottes was soo beautiful kept us happy!:D this water was really soo amazingly blue! WoW*!
We drove once around the isalnd to the that " schnmugglerbucht"...the water there was even more amazing...like somewhere in the indian ocean! We got off the boat to have a swimm and cool down:P! was wonderful!
After an hour we had to go back on the boat and drive back...which seemed never ending!

But we made it back to the hotel:P...tina and i just wanted to lie down for a moment...do you sleep now? tine asked: no i dont otherwise i wont feel great tonight....jaaajaaa...3 mins later we were both asleep and when we woke up we felt like we drunk a bottle Razz on ex! just awful!!!
How ever we had some food and it was okey again...ready to go clubbing:P!

As usual tina and i ended up somewhere else then out room but this time apart from each other! neever mind...:P we had our fun! and when i went back to our room (not alone:P) by 6 am she was still not there...!
My someone that was with me..lol...was gone by 9.50 i realised that breakfast just fitted in and went to have some food...all on my own:P the other two were still asleep and so i just wrode on a paper that i was at the pool and pushed it under the door:P

thinking of i could finally read a few pages of my book i went to the pool...i think i rode every page twice cause i fell asleep over and over agian:P...beeing woken up by my friends who finally got up as well:P...it was lunch time already and tina sitll nowhere:P!
So we sat inside to have lunch when she came alog;)!

Day 4...Shopping is on the programm...

For this we went to Zakynthos Town but before we spent some time splashing in the pool:P...!

Since the shops are only open at about 6 pm we left at about 5 with a taxi! It was a short drive and quite cheep, about 10€!
When we arrived there all the shops were still closed and so we sat down at a little coffee to have a drink! in the corner there was an old lady sitting that smiled at us very friendly and pointed out the flower hairclip i was wareing in my hair:D! That was too sweet!

After waking up and down the main shopping street twice, more and more shops opend but there werent any exciting once really!
We went to a toyshop cuddlying the anymlas in there and having fun pointing out things we wil buy for our children:P!

Suddnly my neck hurt awfully and i had a hard time breathing! I was a bit shocked at this and didnt quite know what to do, so we wentto a pharmacy and tryed to explain my problem but she didnt get what i wanted to say so ijust left it and hoped that it'll stop soon!
I guess it was from all those aircondotitioners everywhere!

Feeling hungry we found a lil greek restaurant near the port and had a good dinner for next to nothing!
While eating we saw all thous horses and..öööhm Kutschen, whatever its called in english:P(have a look at the pics)...and decided that we really wanted to do this:D so after dinner we went to ask how much it cost...10€ that was really cheep..so we've choosen the nicest hors and have been driven around Zante town into the sunset light!
It was soo nice and we had so much fun..zante town really is beautiful, small and friendly ppl!

Afterwards we walked alog the port and took a pic of all of us...out money finding luck hadnt stopped and we found another 40€ ;);)! So funny!
We came to the church of Zakynthos and went to have a look inside...it was a lovely church and we all lighted a candle for all the ppl we missed! Was kind of an emotional moment!!!
And we all agreed that i'd be a lovely church to get married:D!
We sat on the stepps outside and enjoyed the moment of watching the full of live center and the prist overwatering the plants:D!

At around 10 we actually wanted to go back to laganas..if we sould find a taxi! We waved toevery passing taxi untill we realised that we had to go to a taxi station:P:P!!!

Finally back at our hotel Nastasia and Nicole wanted to make it an early night and went to bed! So tina and i went to do some party on are own...goooood we had so much fun! We went to Rescue as usual and tina met that guy she brought along the other night...it was his last night and she kinda liked him...not for very long!:P I just made my way trough the dancing ppl and had fun shaking around with strangers:P whlie she was with him! But before all this and ...ehm...forgot his name, came to Rescues we were dancing together and spotted someone that looked quite good:P...since she waswaiting for someone she said: go to him his hot...! I dont know what it was and why i couldnt but i somwhow didnt wanne go there! She already said: you're so strange, you dont do this stupid usualy!...Today i know why i dint wanne go to him...but that comes later..however she just was fed up waiting for the other guy and simply said: i'm going to show you how you have to do this...not a min later she was with him and then i know it all: it was HER dream man!!!!

So while i was having my fun shaking she was somewhere arond the club...suddnly someone grabbed my hand and pulld me from the cake direction door outside...behind her, her dream man...called Sam..."i dont know how to get rid of him...the other guy's here"! Simply give him a kiss and tell him to come back here tomorrow, i said (good luck we speack an other language:P)! She did what i said and we went back inside where i we spereated again!

I found someone myself to hang out and dance with when she came back to me in tears (shes such an emotional person!!!)...give me some money i need a drink, ore two, or how many it needs...ooooookey so i got the money out of my bra:P! and she went outside!...sure i had to check on her a lil while later and my guy...called Elliot..said that he had to check on his friend an so we went with him to his hotel...we ended up having too much fun with those two guys and only rememberd that we had to be back at the hotel before 8 since we booked a boat trip!

At about 5.30 we made out way home taking the beach way...it took us nearly 1,5h to get to the hotel with stopping every few meters!
Chatting, splashing, making Yoga...!

It was just enough time left to take a shower and have something to eat before leaving again...stil a bit pissed!

New day new adventures:P...

Our name giving phase hasnt stopped jet and we continued with our own names...

Nastasia beacem: Uncle Jürgen Lucy von der Welle
Nicole became:     Mama Malte Ruben Rösli
Tina became:        Karl-Heinz Uwe Evi Emma Monrou
Seraina became:  Otto Elisabeth........now you know why my nickname on TB is Ottielisa:P

Those names we have till today and we actually never use our normal names anymore...so i'm called Otti or Ottimo..!:P

In the evening after our chilled dinner and usual balcony sitting...ou the balcony has became: bobby balcony, cause of bob marley:P!..we went to party again! We of course had to show tina the new club we found that had such a cool stage to dance on...since this stage looked like a cake we called it Tööörtli...(Torte is cake in german:P)! But first we went to this club called Boozers...

Suddnly tina pointed out her flipflop (we gave up on the highheels) and said: hey its broackeni've gotta change my them!..no reaction ...heeeeeloooooo didnt you hear me; she asked....Nicole: hey cool how do you do this with your flipflop that its moving so cool??...hell its broaken thats why...ou okey..Nastasia, Seraina..tina need new flipflops...what????.......Ahhh Mama Malte was the only one that actually understood the problem and went to get some new flipflops with tina...it was 3 am but some shops had stil open so they didnt had to go back home!
The next morning we sooo had to laugh cause Nastasia and me just didnt really understood what had happen:P:P:P

Of course she had to walk a bit bearfeeted and the ground was very dirty which nither of us realised...in the morning when i woke up and saw her feet i just said one thing: take your feet out of my bed pls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha

Our first day started with a lovely breakfast at around 9.30:P!
Afterwards we spent some time at the pool and just chilled before the midday sun burned us! The pool area was so nice and invites to relax and play an UNO:P:P...just that Tina is still the champion, i'm just too bad!..lol!

When it  became too hot to stay in the sun we went to check out Lagans by daylight and did a lil shopping. Not that it has the best shoppes ever but it was good for buying suveniers and other usless stuff:P:P!

We ended up at the beach where we lied down and had a nap;)...

...i'd say now the party started...we always had our boxes and ipods with us and listend to bob marley!  aaaalll the time:P!
Having a phase of giving names to everyone we ended up having Brigitte, Susanne, Ätti...all given by a special reason like being fat or having unshaved leg or arm hairs:P (ok susanne was actually a man..lol)..other names will follow later:P! It was def a good laugh!

After having a shower and dinner we headed to our lovely shop to get an other bottle Razz and chilled on the balcony again...like we also did all the following evenings! the amount of empty bottles encreased over the week:P!
Of course we also went clubbing today and now were we knew our way around abit better the party was muuuch more fun!

We aslo found our favourite club for the following days..Rescue Club...whit the fact that we lost Tina somewhere we just went in there and shaked around a lil stage till someone pulled us up there and we were surounded by tonnes of ppl...it was good fun and someone asked: how do you manage to just have 8 men around you???...bööö nooormaaal we answerd:P:P! With the time it got a bit too much and we went outside to see if we can find Tina again!..not that she isnt old enough or anything but i was worried about her since she didnt even knew the name of our hotel!!!;)...after 1,5 hours of waiting we just went back to the hotel and hoped that she would find the way...good luck she did having a guy on her hand...oookey then!;) no i could at least go to bed without any worries, oke i've been woken up by her nocking onto the door for ten mins at 5 o'clock in the morning!!...out of a habit i hit the bedsidecabinet looking for my alarmclock tomake some light...not finding it i reachout for my mobphone abd was wondering why it didnt make any light till i realised that it was the thingy for the tv!...tina had my phone:P:P..then i finally woke up!...lol! SO i let her in and a look at her was enough to know what happend...but no details to this:P....

After unpacking our stuff and dress up in something lighter we went to explore the near naighbourhood of our hotel!

The beach was only a 2 min walk away and great! Looked like one big party and too much fun! The water was clear and the sind very fine...just like i love it;)! We walked a bit along the beach and then decided to have a quicke swimm!
The water was def not the warmest ever but alright to cool down:P! After splashing a bit we went back to our hotel and on the way back along the beach my best friend and i spotted some lost money in the water...HA..our first night out is payed with those 20€:P!

Since we where all wet we fisrt went back to our rooms to change before heading off to have dinner!...We enjoyed a week of All Inclusive;)! The food in the hotel as surprisingly good and always fresh made stuff!...we had to laugh about the boss of the kitchen, he looked like Mister Bean just in a fatter version!!!;);)
At dinner we asked, our favourite, waiter Christos where we had to go to for the party and he explaind us the way to the main street!

We where actually all very tired form the journy and just wanted to have a drink and chat a bit at the hotelbar...the thing was only that they for some reason didnt wanne give us any alcohol...we didint look like 18 they said( just that 2 of os where already 20!!)! Well...never mind we thought and went to the next shop to buy our absolut favourite drink..Bacardi Razz and went back to enjoy a evening on our balcony! The later it became to fiter we were agian...so at midnight we all said: lets go out anyway!!!:D
It took us a while to get ready given it to the empty bottle of bacardi!

We walked and walked and were never really sure if it was the right direction:P but we got there and we were so surprised about this never ending street with one club aftert the other!!!Jeppiiiiiiiiiiii!!!:D:D:D:D

Our first stop was at the Gettho club and my friend nearly melted by looking at the DJ!!! haha...Schoggobbääär:D!
At about 3 am we made our way back to the hotel which took us ages with our highheels and hurting feet!...

The first day was def a great one and the girls just fell around my neck and said thank you for the good choise...lol!!!

We loved this hotel and i would recomend it to everyone! as you maybe heard or know, the main street of laganas is very loud and party till early morning...zante park hotel is located about 20 min by feet away from this main street and so its very calm but you are connected to everything like shops, restaurants, the beach and some bars. the food is absolutly exelent and always fresh made. te pool area is beautiful and invites you to relax. the rooms are all very clean and nicely made with balcony which was great to hang out in the evenings before the clubbing time starts! we are deffently going back there to spend an other 2 weeks in Laganas! just the best place ever!:D by seraina...ou and i'm a travel agent and usualy stay in hotels on 3 to 5* level so you can really belive what i've written:D

We went down to stay for one week in Laganas. We stayed at the hotel Sunshine that was totally ok but nothing really fancy. The town it self is for party people with a 2 km party street where people play all kinds of music mixed into your ears. For those who want this kind of vacation it must be great. The rest og the Island is really fantastic and pretty quiet. It is a lot to see if you really put your mind to it. We rentet too scooters for 5 days with full insurance for 140 euros. The Island is full of mountains, cliffs, blue see threw water and green sorounding, you see it rains a lot there the rest og the year so its not dry and brown:-)  Special things you really have to see is the Shipwreck up north at the island, the sunset in Faro (in Keri), and all the great beaches at the south. Almost in every map it says that there are a lot of nice beaches in west coast but they are just stones and boates almost. The island is also famous for its turtels but we only got to see a baby.

Really great restaurant with nice music, really good food and nice prices. The service is good and the atmosphere is really nice. The best restaurant we could find on the island.
