OK we're on the road back to home. Brenden is driving. As we go through the turns he does this thing where he drives really close to the curb.

I tell him "Dude, you're getting close to the curb."

He says "I got this... This is how I drive..."

Yeah, he jinxes himself. A mile or two down the road, we're going around a left hand turn and BAM! He hits the curb, chips the wheel, and the tire goes flat. I look at him for a few seconds then bust out laughing. Yes, I laughed at him. We drive over a bridge and pull into someone's driveway and change the tire. Afterwards, we park on the side of the road and take a look around the area, check out the bridge, and look at the river below it.

Later, on the drive home, he makes a point to avoid getting close to anymore curbs.

I will not say who was driving but the roads in the UK do get narrow. We were on our way back to Cambridge and crossed over the bridge from Scotland to England. This bridge had to be designed for single carriage and not for a lorrie (truck) and a car at the same time. At least we did not loose a side view mirror just hit a curb. Oh well, it is a hired (rental) car and after driving more than 8000 miles in it during the entire trip something was bond to happen. The rental company was willing to forgive and handle it with no cost to me.

This gave us a chance take a break and walk a little down by the stream.
