The rope park has six routes with different degrees of difficulty. First you get a safety instruction. You learn how to handle the equipment and you’ll do the first steps on the practice route. Then, if you don’t act as if you’d be very careless you can start at the rope park. That’s really funny!
Everybody with a size over 120cm can do this. You should wear good and robust shoes. It’s everything outside so wear adapted cloths.

After a change of plans because of weather, we hit the road at about 1800 on Friday - destination Engelberg Switzerland. Rolled in at 2300 and I couldn't sleep because I was jacked up on Red Bull. Next morning, we took a cable car ride to the bruinhutte and then hiked to the summit from there. We were the only 2 idiots up there all day. The weather was foggy but otherwise OK. I will probably go back just so I can take in the view from the top during good weather.

Didn't do much today.

left munich without showering, drove to lichtenstein, had lunch there in Vaduz, the capital. next, drove into switerzland, stopped in lucern for some shopping. kate and i bought swiss army knives (we're hardcore). then, took a mini'cruise from lucerne to some port citz near engelberg. got on coach, drove to engelberg, walked around the small town and watched a concert in the local bandstand, back to hotel for dinner. walked around the town somemore searching for internet, met the group at the Eden Bar (somewhat lame). stayed for one beer and then went to hotel to shower, finally. so we showered last in Vienna, Austria, then travedl from Austria to Germany to Lichtenstein and fianlly to Switzland before showering. i'm lazy, this is all you get. -rach

Today we to Mount Titlis the highest glacier excursion in central Switzerland. We rode the lift up to 10,000 feet and were able to play in the snow. They had all sorts of sleds and snowtubes. It was absolutely amazing. I loved playing in the snow. I became a little kid again and was throwing snowballs and running around with everyone. The sleds were really fun and the tubes were great but it let me know how out of shape I was. The air is thinner, thats my excuse! Anyway, more later -Kate

"If I had to be a cow, I'd want to be a cow in Switzerland. Then I would be personallz involved in the production of Swiss chocolate... and I'd get a cool bell." -Rachel

Later: Went out to the Yucatan Bar and then Eden Bar. A bunch of us from the states tried to name all 50 states. Its harder than you think; give it a try. I called a couple people when I got home from the bars, sorry if you got one of those calls. It was a good night, rather quiet but no complaints. -kate

While on a recent tour with Explorica Educational Travel (www.explorica.com) to Lucerne, we were lucky enough to stay for two nights at this lovely property. Nestled in the majestic Alps, this hotel is so high up that you actually have to take a cable car to get to it! (Don't worry - they take your luggage up for you in a van.) The rooms were clean and spacious and every room had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains! The included breakfast was delicious! I think that this hotel is a busier during ski season, but in the summer it was quiet and serene.
