<P>On the way to the tiny island of Jazirat Arwad, near the town of Tartus, we stop to see&nbsp;Krak&nbsp;des Chevaliers, the largest of the last remaining crusader fortresses.&nbsp; Tartus is a small fishing villiage and we are the only tourists visiting the nearby&nbsp;island today.&nbsp; The kids are more curious of us than we are of them.&nbsp; This is where we split ways.&nbsp; He'll be returning to England straightaway and I'll be continuing on to Turkey.</P></p>
