Jaja wij zijn op 1 mei naar het dolfinarium geweest :P
Het was al zo lang geleden ik denk wel 6 jaar, dus ik had er wel zin in!

Ik ben echt helemaal gek van dolfijnen (ben ook wel eens met een dolfijne boot mee geweest in portugal, geweldig!)
We zijn naar het dolfijndomijn geweest, hele leuke show met dolfijnen. We hebbe zeeleeuwen en zeehonden shows gezien wat ook erg grappig was om te zien! we hebben de roggen en haaien geaaid.

Ik heb ook besloten dat ik mijn volgende stage daar ga lopen ;)

the historic town of Harderwijk used to be a coastal town where fishermen went out on the salt water. It was the central marketplace for the area and had a lot of cloisters to provide clergymen. Many historic buildings remain in the centre. After the closure of the afsluitdijk in 1931 the fresh water IJsselmeer was formed. This threatened the fishery and one smart guy thought of an alternative trade. He founded the Dolfinarium, nowadays the main tourist attraction of the region where you can see the dolphins and sea lions do their tricks. Have a guided tour at the town, visit the Dolfinarium and have a dinner with eal, the well known fish of the region.

Harderwijk is a village near the IJSSELMEER. It's a great place for a short trip.

We went for 2 days.

First day:

Dolfinarium Harderwijk. Amazing! Great shows, beautifull animals and a nice sphere.

We slept in Hotel Baars in the centre of Harderwijk. It's a nice, clean and basic hotel. OK for a niqht. The breakfast was good!

Second day:

The zwaluwhoeve, a spa. The biggest in Holland! With different types of Sauna's. Fantastic food, a beautifull garden and great pools and jacuzzis.

We had an hotstone massage and an hamam treathment. Wow! A fantastic day! And a fantastic weekend!

In Harderwijk (Province of Gelderland) you will find the Dolfinarium. Dolfinarium is a Marine Park wich is mostly about shows with sea animals. At the DolphinDomain you can see shows with Dolphins. Other animals wich have shows are the sealion, the walrus, sharks (you can go and see how they are being fed and you can pet the animals too) and seals. There are more shows with dolphins and with the sealions and they are being held at different locations but you can get the info on that at the entrance. You can get a timetable there wich says where and when the shows are being held. You can see crabs, visit the reef with rays, go to the filmtheatre and there are some area's to play for children. Especially for children a really nice park.

The most beautifull Zoo in Europe! Typical Dutch style. Nice animals en great shows with dolphins.
