We visited the Dome. All the walls were covered with red cloth. Very colourful. n WW II the dome was hit by a bomb. They display a replica of the bomb in the Dome.

Mosta this located in the center of the island of Malta. Its main attraction is the monumental church, whose design this inspired by the Pantheon of Rome. The cupola is the fourth but great one of Europe, the other three are in Rome, London and Xewkija, in the neighboring island of Gozo. Its construction began in 1833 and it was devoted in 1871. It was built around and upon another previous church. It was constructed of voluntary form by the workers of the place and for that reason this church, as most of the churches of Malta faith monuments can be considered. In 1942 a pump of five hundred kilograms fell on the cathedral, broke the cupola but it did not explode.

Mosta esta situado en el medio de la isla de Malta. Su principal atraccion es la monumental iglesia, cuyo diseño esta inspirado en el Panteon de Roma. La cúpula es la cuarta mas grande de Europa, las otras tres estan en Roma, Londres y Xewkija, en la vecina isla de Gozo. Su construccion comenzó en 1833 y se consagró en 1871. Fue edificada alrededor y encima de otra iglesia anterior. Fue construida de forma voluntaria por los trabajadores del lugar y por eso esta iglesia, como la mayor parte de las iglesias de Malta pueden considerarse monumentos de fe.
En 1942 una bomba de quinientos kilos cayo sobre la catedral, agujereo la cúpula pero no explotó.
