There are apparently several Kincaid’s locations, but the only one I can speak of is the Burlingame, CA location. When I lived in the Bay Area, I worked in South San Francisco not far from the SFO airport. Burlingame is just south of the airport and Kincaid’s has an incredible location. They are right on the bay with huge windows that face the tarmac. You can watch planes landing while you eat which I find fascinating. If you're not familiar with Burlingame, I suggest you ask for directions though. You'll get lost!

The menu is good and although by looking at the website you’d think this place was like TGI Fridays (nothing wrong with them!) this place is very nice inside. The food is good, they have a great wine list and the service is also excellent. This place is a blend of surf and turf, but I ate there at least five times, ordered something different each time and never had a bad meal. Again, the location is what makes it special. There are tons of restaurants with great food all over this country, but finding a restaurant which hits the quality food mark coupled with a great atmosphere is a bit harder to find.</p>

I love this hotel. I only rated this hotel good because I consider places like W or Westin to be exceptional and this hotel isn't as fancy. However, I love staying here, especially compared to the Hyatt down the street.

For those who have layovers and it's just an overnighter, this is a great place. It's only 5 minutes away from the airport and shuttles run frequently to and from. Most hotels on this road have their own buses or shuttles for guests. If you're looking for a hotel close to the airport and can't decide which one off of Bayshore Hwy to stay at...pick Bay Landing! There are many hotels to pick from, but I'd recommend Bay Landing out of all of them. I used to stay at the Hyatt for weeks at a time and I'm glad we switched hotels. I don't recommend this for people who want to tour SF for a few days. In that case, I'd recommend to stay somewhere in San Francisco. SFO airport/burlingame are about a 15 minute drive from SF and it's really dead here at night.

The Bay Landing is located along the water so the view is beautiful. If you're lucky and get the window view of the bay - nice! The hotel has 4 floors and outdoor parking. Conveniently, after checking in a getting your hotel key, they have a back entrance for guests instead of having to return to the main lobby to get back in. It's nice not having to wait to get an elevator in a tall building or hassle with lots of cars in a parking garage. Within walking distance, this hotel is located within all the main restaurants on the street - el toritos, Elephant Bar and Benihana. El Toritos is literally next door and Elephant Bar is two doors down. That makes eating out especially convenient. Benihana is just an extra 5 minute walk compared to the other two.

Breakfast is included in the price and it's pretty good. My only complaint is that they don't have an espresso maker and they don't serve meat. The only meat protein you'll get will come from boiled eggs. However, they have a huge selection of other breakfast foods to choose from. My favorite is making your own waffle! It's the size of my face and I can top it with strawberries, pineapple and whip cream. Also served is fresh fruit ranging from kiwis, mangoes, strawberries, pears, peaches, etc. Bagels, pastries and muffins are all neatly arranged in a basket with cream cheese, cheese sticks and jam on the side. You can also get pre-made pancakes or get yourself a bowl of cereal. Plenty of yogurt or cottage is also available by the silverware. They also give you a decent selection of drinks - decaf coffee, coffee, grapefruit juice, apple juice, orange juice, teas, etc.

Guests are welcome to eat in the dining area or the outdoor patio. From there you can watch planes land and take off the SFO strip, or just watch the sun rise above the water. In the distance to the north, you can see San Francisco (assuming it's not too foggy). To the south, you're able to see the San Mateo bridge.

The hotel also has a decent sized gym and free internet access in the lobby. Each room comes with a mini-fridge and microwave too! If you need some quick snacks, the hotel sells frozen foods right by the check-in/out counter. Also, the walls here seem pretty thick. I rarely hear hallway or neighbor noises. The blankets on the bed could be thicker for my liking though. Sometimes I still feel a little cold with the blanket on. That's not a big deal since the room has a ac/heater unit that can be controlled with a remote control :) No more getting up in the middle of the night to change the temperature or turn on/off the A/C.
