My journey out of Bolivia during the civil unrest which had brought the entire country to a grinding halt.
A combination of luck, pesistance and stupidity made that I became the only person to travel from La Paz to Puno on 8 July 1999.
I have placed this story in a separate blog so that I could zoom in on the map to illustrate the route and add photos. It's a long story, but worth it.

Olav and David - If you happen to read this, I'd really like to get in touch with you again.
