<description>The Wachau Valley in Lower Austria (Nieder Österreich) is one of the more beautiful regions in what is already a stunning country. It is situated on the Donau (Danube River) upstream about 100km west from Vienna. I had the joy of showing my parents around for a perfect day in the valley and I highly recommend it to those who have the time.</description>
