rivass: persian restaurant
rivass: persian restaurant Reviews
Dec 19, 2007
today we had our christams party in a persian restaurant called rivass in düsseldorf.
the restaurant is quite amusing for its has minimal design, dominated only by a huge mural of a traditional persian house. but since i am not into arabic/turkisch/mediterenean/persian cuisine, i ordered what is safe - most of the dishes are lamb, but since i dont eat lamb, i went for the conservative - chicken cooked in fine walnut sauce with a big serving of saffron rice which costs 10 euros. they also have a buffet that offer most of the cuisine in the menu for only 12 euros. you can also play backgammon inside because the game orinally came from ancient persia. all in all the ambiance, food and experience - i give it an average :D |
