Øresundsbroen the longest bridge in europe Travel Reviews

Oct 22, 2007
this must be the most famous landmark in skandinavia, the oresund bridge. it was built between the cooperation of denmark and sweden, to avoid environmental and nature disaster across the oresund strait and its area. the bridge was opened in 2000. it is a combination of tunnel and bridge that extents its length until 7.8 kilometers making it the longest bridge in europe.

the cost from copenhagen to malmö is about 15 euros roundtrip, so its affordable and from malmö, you can have a wonderful view of the bridge, because in copenhagen, you will not for it starts as a tunnel there and a nature reserve area.

cars pass at the highway which is called e20 and trains pass below it. it takes about 10 minutes to cross the whole bridge from end to end and it has the most spectacular view ive ever seen in my whole life.
