Okay, Okay Okay! I am gone hiking for a day and everyone is worried that I have not updated my blog. Well, you are going to be so sorry because I have so much to tell you.
It all started two nights ago when I went out for dinner and ordered wine. Now you have to know that one glass of wind is 3 euros and 1/2 L is 5 euros. So guess which one I ordered. I had to finish the wine. Couldn't finish my dinner but the wine must be consumed. Then I went for a walk on the beach and decided to la...

In between the cities of Tartu and Otepää you can find this delightful and modern seafood restaurant. The restaurant is situated on a hill over-viewing one of many wonderful Estonian lakes which you will find spread all over this area of the country.
The restaurant is located 23km from Tartu and is a restaurant that many local visits when they want to be good to themselves. All the menu items, with the exception of desserts of course, consist of fish or seafood dishes.

I am so sad. My poor little Chico died this morning. Chico is/was a green cheeked conure and he's been with us for 15 years. He was about 6 months old when we got him. Originally he was my mom's bird, but I always played with him more and took care of him, so he was closer to me. So close that he would recognize my voice and call out to me if he heard me nearby. He spent many years at college with me, keeping me from being too lonely. Only recen...

Everyone always talk about how boring small towns are and, but I live
here in Kilgore, Texas and I kinda like. I wasn't quite sure what it
would be like living in such a small town, but it has really grown on
me. I work as the Campus Minister at the Christian Campus Center
at Kilgore College. I also teach Religion course at the college. It is
a nice college with about 5000 students from the local area.
We have quite a few hotels in town as well as some pretty good little
restu...

We made it back in one piece from our four day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I have to say that this is quite possibly the coolest thing I have ever done outside of raising my kid J The trek was definitely not easy but it was so incredibly worth all the hard work and exhaustion and I absolutely believe that if you are going to Machu Picchu and you are fit and ready for hard work, you should head out on this trek.
We had to book back in February since the trail is heavily regulated...

... well, final destination for the study abroad program. This is not even close to the final destination for Greg and me. School is in full tilt right now but the three of us still are going to manage to find time to go to Prague, Czech Republic this weekend. I know, I know, where's the blog? Where's the pictures? Patience my friends (and family), patience. I still have to finish telling you about Paris, Strasbourg and Salzburg. -Jon

Drink responsibly as you hit Epernay, the capital of champagne.
This area is the heart of the world's most prestigious vineyards.
We went to have a nice lunch (as per recommendation from a Belgian friend) to try a connoisseur of good food and champagne in a very much traditional French fixed menus.
Take note that a reservation is needed when youre visiting on weekend.
From theyre fixed menu, you will experience an economical way for a 3-course meal.Sumptous indeed, will not hesitate ...

Travelling around Europe for 2weeks (AMS-GER-FRANCE-BELGIUM).
Exciting country for most of its medieval architecture, chateau and cultural sites which deserves protection for the benefit of all humanity.
So, lets start to drive around and see some part of Europe.

In Tallinn the car rental offices are situated in the ground level just downstairs from the arrival area. The offices are all next to each other’s and the service level is usually quiet high.
One thing that I think is remarkable is that the price level is that high, especially when you know that car prices in Estonia are low. This time I rented a convertible; a VW Eos which actually was a very nice car. I wanted to rent something different because all the other times I had Astra’s Mazd...
