Kayaking in the completely calm waters of Antarctica with icebergs all around us (I have not ever kayaked anywhere else!)

Born and lived in Taiwan and then moved to California, graduated from UCLA and worked in aerospace and computer industry. I retired in 2005 and became a photographer/artist. In 2007 I opened a studio in town for portrait photography. Check out the link to my web site if you like. I keep busy wrangling my Siberian Huskies, painting, drawing and taking photos and playing on the computers (instead of working on them). Enjoy traveling with my family and friends.

Going to Turkey, cruise the Black Sea. Hop over to Athens for a quick visit, then back to Turkey for another tour, including Cappadocia.

I have always wanted to go to the Silk Road and to see the Mogao Grottos at Dunhuang in particular. So as circumstances allowed me to meet up with travbuddies Phil and Julia on the Silk Road, I decided to take the opportunity to travel again!

Visit the main island of Japan with my husband Kevin, meet a travbuddy in Kyoto. Then back to Taiwan for a reunion with my old schoolmates, and a meet up with our world traveling travbuddy Deats to see a side of Taiwan that I had never seen while living there.
