Pont de Poubara is a Park located approx. 40km southwest of Franceville, Gabon. The Ogowe River runs through the park and is used to generate power for the surrounding area. The park contains a hand made vine bridge and a waterfall, it is frequented by few tourists as it is difficult to reach and is poorly advertised.

Since our train didn't leave unitl 8pm we decided to take a little day trip. So we went to Poubara. What a beautiful place, there is a power plant however, so that sort of ruins the ambiance.
