Peru is a extremly diverse country, geographically, topographically, and ethnically. Peru is one of, if not the only, country in the world where in two hours you can travel from the beach, up 3000m through the mountains, then to the jungle.

The country also has a multi-ethnic make-up. Composed of many different indigenous groups, those of european descent, people of mixed racial heritage and in more recent history those of asian descent, Peru does in fact have a multi-cultural flavour.

Peru has so many interesting things to do. In the north of the country one can surf along all the beautiful beaches like Trujillo or climb Huascaran near the town of Huaraz. In the south one can visit the city of Nasca and the world reknowned lines, the famous city of Cusco, the religious historical site of Machu Picchu, the beautiful Plaza de Armas of the city of Arequipa and the amazing Colca Canyon, and the town of Puno on Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world).

I was joining them for the party time later ;) I met the girl in Miraflores, at the hostal they were staying.  As good Colombian, the girls...
