Hi, this is my native city...REIMS

So, it's not really a nice city and region ( flat & rain ) but at least you can visit the Cathedral ( all french kings got coronation there ) and Champagne houses in Reims ( Krug, Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin, Taittinger, Pommery, Vranken ) and to Epernay, 30km away ( Moet & Chandon, visit cellar in tiny train, Mercier, Pol Roger, De castellane with a tower in the city ). Landscape before to reach epernay from Reims is awesome because epernay is very on the bottom of hill and you arrive by the top, so you have an incredible scenery on "le vignoble de Champagne" and Epernay. Then you can reach "La cote des blancs" with only Chardonnay to make a very subtle Champagne... Avize, Mesnil sur Oger...

night life SUCKS and peolple COLD...sorry ;-0...my native city u know :D

tell me if you had a good trip/time in this part of France ???
take care.

I've been to Reims, just to visit the churches and museums. I didn't go out, so I can't say it was super exciting. But as a historian, I enjoyed the visit.
