The crime rate has really slowed and to be honest, where else in Perth are you going to go?? There are a few gems such as the Court, the Deen, and Rosie O'grady's. The best thing about Northbridge is the eclectic mix. Where else can you go to a snooker hall at 3am then get a kebab then go back to a club?
Don't write it off during the day either, plenty of good pubs and restaurants! |

I stayed in a hostel in Northbridge, oddly enough on the Northern side of the tracks. This is a funky area full of restaurants, nightclubs and cafes. Much of it feels more cosmopolitan than the city side but since it's an easy walk over the rail overpass… Back to the city |

…Apparently he shouts at everyone because so many people mistake his house for Sancha's house, but telling them to 'go back to where they came from' was uncalled for.

It's nice and relaxed and not as warm/humid as it has been. Did the sights of Perth in about a day, it's small and easy to walk around. Kings Park was one of the highlights. Watched the Ireland/England match in Rosie O Gradys irish bar in Northbridge. … Western Australia |

…went and met up with Arlene, who I had met on the trip to the North of Western Australia, and she attempted to show me the sights, Northbridge is where lots of the pubs were, and that really is your worst nightmare, 18-20 year olds, in the shortest skirts, drunk as, you get the picture....so we headed out a bit and found some good places, found a great… Night out in Perth |
