its cozy.......its one of few bars in singapore where you can eat your peanuts and throw the shells on the floor.....
the mixed house pour drinks are strong.....and have i mentioned the happy hours drinks are real cheap....least for singapore standard....... and its set up in this old peranakan style house.....historically singaporean.....well......or seems like it...... hmmmm last time i was in singapore......it has a female dj that plays a mixture of loads of things......soo you can come on week night sit down on the platform....do people watching....and listening to some soul or jazzie thing come weekend....the place is bustling.....and the DJ plays everything from latin...commercial....hip hop....or just some weird french songs that people requested.....and people are dancing everywhere...albeit the real narrow and long bar...... so if you are doing a singapore stop over......do check it out......i know raffles hotel's long bar supposed to do the best singapore sling....but my fave singapore sling is no 5's made by dennis... ;) hey after all the management claimed its the best cocktail bar in singapore and if you do get to find it....please pat bouncer for me... ;) |

5. Punters Corner Cabernet Sauvignon (2004) - Smells of rich dark chocolate, dark berry and something oaky, coming on full-bodied on the palate, actually also quite easy and pleasant to drink. A 5 day trip to Singapore again, coupled with renewing and filing for my work visa. This time I made it a point to contact everyone I could meet up.
I did not expect that it would be fun and memorable.
I took the cheaper and more… Nicer this time around |

We were more than 5 hours earlier for the 15 minutes show :p. We were chatting, eating, drinking and gobbling more all throughout the 5 hours… I guess the waiting wasn’t that hard at all.

The trip took me approximately 5 hours to reach KL compared to a trip by train which will take around 7 hours. Well, 5 hours is really long for a traveler with a limited time like me. But, it’s all worth it! Later in the afternoon, I found myself… It all started here... |

In under an hour we were standing on Sentosa Island and for roughly $30 you got a ticket package to 5 of the attractions on the island and that also includes your transport on the train to/from the island. In all honesty though, Sentosa Island didn’t impress me as much as I thought it would. The street luge was alright but not as fun as I thought… TravBuddy Meetup in Singapore! |
