Most Memorable Travel Experience
Lipe island : I love that moment. This paradise gave me a chance to meet good friends!

Koh Pangan : It was really great at the first time on this island - it's also the first time that I traveled alone!

Luang Prabang and Xiang khwang, Loas : I was very excited when the police caught me and my friend because he played djimbe in public :O

USA : was detained at the immigration division for 4 hours. They took my photos and my fingerprints as if i kill somebody but the thing was my passport photo (first passport) doesn't look like me :( But that's really me!!!!

Trekking in Nepal : They said "Trekking can prove the relationship between you and your trekking partner". Forever friends or short time friends, now I already got the answer in mind.

India : ohhhh ... more than words!

Profile

Love travelling. Not sure is it because I was born while mom and dad were doing the road trip to Penang or this wonderful world inspired me?

Not too many countries that i have been to. Spent time for a year in Chicago then back to Bangkok, my home town, to work. After that I haven't got a chance to leave my country more longer than 5 months. Mostly travel around Thailand. Many beautiful beaches are waiting for me to say hi. And had a few experiences around Europe and Asia.

I always want to make a move but it isn't easy for me now to move and move all around. I'm getting older so sometimes I want something (ex. a good job) to make sure that my currency status is stable enough to take care of everything I've got now.

But working in the office is kinda boring at the moment. (Actually is all the time!) So between 2007-2008 I did something that most of the other Thais don't. I quit from work at JWT advertising agency to travel for like 4-5 months altogether. (I knew it wasn't a good time to quit because a good job isn't easy to find here but if I don't quit, I don't think I have a chance to travel more than two weeks!). Lucky, I got the same job in another company in one week after back from the trip. But I always think : I am a writer (for advertising and books) so maybe I can write and send it back to my clients from wherever I go?

I don't know. Maybe yes but if I can't do it or if I have to work here forever, what would it be?

I don't know. But no matter what the destiny leads me, I won't let it stop me from travelling for sure.

Life is always beautiful so just enjoy it when I'm still alive!

Yes it's been lovely lately. Gonna get cooler from tomorrow on though... Never lasts long :( Rain in Bangkok ha? I've never seen it in the rainy season, so hard for me to imagine hahaha. I was melting away last march!!! How's the mini meet up been? What did you drink for me? Singha beer? Lol. It's nice that you have so many meet-ups over there. Nobody ever comes to Leuven... :S So you're doing the freelance job now? That sounds nice to me. Would be good if you could keep doing that as a fulltime job no? Or do you rather work as an employee? Things aren't too well in my company either. Another two people have left. Luckily I'm still not on of the employees that have to leave. Well, officially, nobody got fired yet... But people are forced to move to other divisions or to take gap years which is more or less the same. We have guaranties for employment until the end of this year but after that nobody knows what might happen. But anyway, I don't bother to much. Just not loaning any money until the situation gets a bit more stable haha. As it is summer now I've started thinking about what trips I might make next year. Aw, always so hard to pick some place of the list... I'd love to go to so many countries. At the moment, Jordan and Syria are on top of the list. India maybe. Who knows? So you're still going for Mongolia ha? I was just wondering, what is it that made you want to see that country? It is not an evident choice. Have you seen Ale lately? Is he still in Bangkok? If you see him again greet him for me ha! It's been too long since we had Singha beer!!!
Cheers honey, take care! Hope to hear you soon again. Want to know how you are doing. I'm so happy to have you as a friend you know. Funny as we haven't met much but still... You are a wonderful friend!
Big hugs, Kim

Hi there! Thanks for your smile and comment on my profile picture! Your profile story sounds interesting. You say you´re a writer, may I ask what kind of articles you write? My dream would also be to travel the world and work as a freelance travel writer. That would be paradise :-)
Have a nice day!
