Most Memorable Travel Experience
* Trekking in Nepal to Everest Base Camp at 5,400m and surrounded by all the lofty peaks.
* Aerial view of the mighty Mount Everest and other Himalayan mountains while flying to Paro.
* Tenting at 4,100m in Bhutan in the snowstorms and hearing the distant roars of a snow leopard at night!!
* Picnic inside an igloo up on Muottas Muragl, Switzerland.
* On the panoramic Glacier Express from Zermatt through the beautiful Swiss Alps to St Moritz ... indeed the journey is the destination!
* Hiking around Matterhorn, the Tolberone chocolate mountain ... so beautiful from all directions!
* Enjoying a pipe organ concert in Salzburg Cathedral ... the enchanting music went deep down the soul.
* Seeing sunrise from the top of Mt Bromo and the visit to the amazing Borobudur.
* Spotting black bears in the national parks in Canada.
* Trekking in Svalbard, the land beyond North Cape, one of Earth’s last wilderness areas with untouched arctic nature.
* Standing on the majestic Kjeragbolten, a rock wedged between the cliffs 1,000m above the fjord.
* Standing for an hour on the frozen Lake Inari, watching the Aurora Borealis developing and dancing in the sky full of stars and hearing the husky dogs howling away when they saw the eerie green lights moving in the sky.
* Witnessing the Triple Sun effect (Sun Dogs) while on a husky ride on the frozen Lake Inari.
* Hunting with the golden eagles and seeing a wild fox being caught and killed before our eyes (too brutal for me!)
* Jungle trekking in Brunei way back in 1997 .... come'on, there is where the Singapore Army send their troops for training!! Everlasting memories of that first but tough trek, which luckily had not dampened my spirit for more adventures (but no more jungle trekking for me!!)

No worries Sue, I still need a lot of catching up to do when blogs are considered. I don't know what next year will give so yes, I signed up, but I am not sure if it is doable with taking leave from work ... we will see when this year is over! ;)
