* RV'ing with my parents and sister in Alaska as a kid
* Moving to Hong Kong for boarding school

* Teaching kids in Northern China english while they schooled us on Michael Jackson's dance moves
* My 17th birthday in Seoul
* My 18th birthday in Ko Samui
* Snorkeling and scuba diving in Indonesia (Jakarta/Yogyakarta/Lombok)
* New years 2000 in Sydney
* Grabbing my passport and jacket, walking out the door, finding myself in Tokyo 14 hours later, and making it up as I go for 10 days in a country/city that I've always wanted wanted to see...

The Bad
* So far none to mention... not even the time we missed our flight home because my buddies went MIA in Thailand after a wild night on the town or even the time the Korean police came to our room and demanded to know why I had the lobby's giant fake potted plant centerpiece hanging halfway out my window. Special thanks go out to Cris and Tom for those memorable moments.

Welcome to the site Michael. I'd love to go to Alaska, can you remember much about it? You are gonna love Iceland, it is beautiful, v expensive but very unusual landscape and worth the money.
