English, a little french and a little german and a tiny smattering of Mandarin, ...probably just enough to get me into trouble!

Most Memorable Travel Experience
Living with a local family while teaching in China, plus the Great Wall of China & the Terracotta Warriors, and also seeing a goat slaughtered in the street at a restaurant, scuba diving with sharks in the Maldives, bungy jumping in Australia, Bridge over the River Kwai in Thailand, dune driving in Dubai, meeting orangutans in Malaysia, helicopter flight around New York City, White Water Rafting on the Tully River in Australia.
"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbous, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover." - Mark Twain.
"There are moments when anything is possible. Where perfection is perfected. If you can dream it, you can do it.
There are places where moments like this happen every day.
One&Only. Live the moment." - the motto of my favourite hotel chain, One&Only Resorts
I really do need to win the lottery so I can just pack my bags and travel as much as I want!
In the meantime I suppose I'll stick it out working as a radio news reader/ reporter in Scotland, where I was born & brought up! Oh year, that and dreaming about all the places I HAVE to see!
