Interests

I like art, design and architecture. I like going to museums, live concerts and fairs. Involving myself in conversation. When I'm out with friends, we usually abide by the 3-D's Rule: dancing, dining and drinking. Good food, good wine and good music! From time to time I also like to hunt for treasure... No really! Gold, emeralds, diamonds! Gotta love "Cash & Treasures" on the Travel Channel to find the best public places to hunt.

I'll listen to most anything, but am not a fan of hip-hop or rap. I'm usually trying to relax, to set my mind in a peaceful place. You'd probably catch me listening to Enya, The Chieftans, Nancy Griffith, Suzanne Vega. Yeah, many of you might think that sounds boring, but it's great.

Most Memorable Travel Experience

My whirlwind tour through Europe in 1995. Ten countries in 12 days! I had a Eurail pass and knew how to use it! It was my 3rd international trip and first taste of the continent. Many memorable experiences. Including leaving my big pack on the tour bus in Munich!

Profile

I work at DFW airport between Dallas and Ft. Worth, Texas. I've worked with an international airline for most of my adult life (30 years) and been in the airline family all of it! It's allowed me to travel to some amazing places. Hopefully here at TB, I'll have more incentive to travel to new places. At 49 I've still got a lot of ground to cover! I'm easy going, fun, adventurous and enjoy meeting new people. This site looks like the place for me.
