I have not been to any outside the US yet. I would probably end up visiting both zoo and aquarium in other places, knowing that I would have this huge nagging doubt if I did not. More so than not visiting a certain museum.

Riga Zoo is rather nice, as is Friguia Animal Park in Tunisia. I try to avoid them now as I have missed things before to see them, but actually, I might be inclined to see if there is one in Crete :)
