One of the most famous breaks in California. Stopped by hear on a weekday afternoon (while on a road-trip to Santa Cruz) and it was still a bit crowded. Surf was 3-5 ft and really fun. Competitive but vibe was good, which was a pleasant surprise.
El Porto is located at the end of 45th street in Manhattan Beach. If you can deal with the crowds (both in the water and in looking for parking), then it's not a bad place to go.
