Most Memorable Travel Experience
flying into Oostersund, Sweden and seeing snow for the first time in a very long time! then staying in a hostel with 4 retired swedish men who spoke about 5 words of english each, yet they shared their whiskey and caviar with me - it proved to me that you don't need to speak the same language to become friends.
Most forgettable travel experience: the entire flight to dublin...our plane was delayed by about 3 hours. what are three girls to do but tuck into to the duty free we had purchased?! A miracle we were let onto the plane. When we finally reached the baggage belt in Dublin our bags were placed to the side of it and we were asked "where have you girls been? your plane arrived well over an hour ago." we still have little idea as to where we got to in dublin airport...i'm sure the security tapes would be amusing though. :) great start to a great weekend. 24 year old Canadian living in Scotland looking for great travel experiences!!! Trying to see as much of Europe as I can while i'm over in this part of the world, then i will tackle Asia, Australia, Africa and South America.
Other than that i love a new adventure, and will try just about anything once. I try to get the most out of life, and enjoy meeting new people, and learning about their culture and lifestyle.
