Cottesloe Beach Summer 07
Dec 24, 2007
I was down at my fav beach here in Perth on December 24th (yes my chrissy shopping was done) It was an interesting day as there was an inland fire and smoke drifting over the coast There was also a British television crew getting set up for a live cross back to england, which they do every year on Christmas day. All the tourists and ex-pats hit the beach for it, you get a great crowd and its fun to see. Forgive quality of pix as all were taken on my mobile fone :)

The historic town of York, Western Australia
Jul 09, 2006
We visited the town of York in my home state of Western Australia. Its one of the oldest towns here and is only about an 80 minute drive from the city. The old courthouse and prison is quite haunting, especially one piece of writing left by a prisoner - I have posted a picture of it - its worth reading.
