On the 2nd of August 2008 Kira and I celebrated our marriage with lots of friends,and soon we'll be setting off, overland and water, back to Australia.

Soaring higher, diving deeper, into a world of magic and music.

Six months sailing from Germany to central America and back, while teaching English.

I'm now halfway through my third year in Europe and things are constantly still amazing and exciting me. I see that the focus of my travelling has changed and I've grown alot since I first set out. Here's a few things I've been up to recently.

Tomorrow I'm leaving heading North, picking up Sofie in Antwerp on the way to Sweden, then from 19th July from Netherlands with Ineke to Portugal, so much fun to be had, so many roads and kilometers to be covered.

Before I started hitching I booked train tickets for Mieke and myself to Paris. It truly is a beautiful city and we had a great time there. Many pics were taken :)

After reading Led by Destiny and talking with friends about the experiences they've had I decided to give hitch hiking a go, and I had such an incredibly awesome time!

Being from South Australia snow is something new and exciting for me, magical and mysterious and mystifying. A full week of snow, real snow, deep snow, falling snow, yay!!!

We spent an incredible two months travelling by train and bus through Eastern Europe, from Berin southward to Athens. We've seen some incredible sights and met some awesome people. Eastern Europe rocks my socks.

A week in London, two weeks in Iceland, and a week in Edinburgh... Awesome!!! Iceland is such an amazing country, so natural and beautiful, and sparsely poplulated, such a refreshing change after England and Belgium :)

Mieke and I did a 9 day bike trip around the Netherlands, it was great, the weather was amazing, the sheep were friendly, the bikes behaved, we really had a great time, and it was a great way to see the country

A long weekend with a bunch of firey spinny twirly people, obviously the best way to spend Easter in England. Thankyou to everyone there for the inspiration!

After living in Belgium for 2months, realising that i would not be able to find work as i had once hoped i would, i sent emails to every UK embassy in Europe to apply for a working holiday visa, of the three positive replies, i chose Tallin Estonia!

So my point of entry was Amsterdam, and from there directly to Mieke's in Belgium. The one night in Japan was awesome, and the lack of sleep on the flight great. Finally i arrived.
