On this tour of south east Asia we spent about ten days in Vietnam.We were in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Long Bay and Nha Trang.

I visited Saudi Arabia as part of the U.S. Department of State and The Kennedy Center's Jazz Ambassadors Program in 2003. This cultural exchange program sends a small number of quartets out to areas where the United States doesn't have a strong presence. Saudi Arabia is one on the nine countries we visited in seven weeks. The other countries where Egypt,Moracco,Jordan,Syria, United Arab Emirates, India and Turkey.

On my day off in Jordan we went to Petra for the day. It's takes about 3 days to see it all. I think I'll have to come back
