If you ever get the chance to visit Japan, you should try to be there for the Cherry Blossom Festival and all the other different Festivals that they have.. Visit some of the Shrines, and go to Saporo for the Ice Festival..

The food is wonderful.. Try the Yakasoba. Trust me you will love it.

Climb Mount Fuji.. It is a great accomplishment to make it to the top of the mountain.. Trust me if you have a fear of heights, you can certainly get over that when you climb the mountain. There are little rest areas on your way up the mountain..

If you are lucky enough to go threw an exchange program, you are going to love the experiences you will have living with a host family..

I know here in the USA, its not polite to slurp your soup, or milk, but in Japan it is rude Not to do that.. Its cool at least til you get back home and get in trouble for it...lol

One of the best parts about Japan is the people. You will not find a harder working culture in the World, and the pride in oneself and their work shines through every day you are there.

So if you get the chance to go.. this is one place you don't want to pass up...

We went to this pretty huge mall in Narita. It was nice and had lots of shops to go to and check out. Me and Kenji mostly just spent our time taking purikuras. Nothing much happened. ^^ I will just share these purikuras with you.

Today we are leaving Kyoto for Tokyo on the Nozomi bullet train. Kevin is flying home while I continue to Taiwan!Since our hotel in Kyoto is right above the train station, it was a short walk to the platform. We took the fast Nozomi bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo, with very few stops. In the bullet trains, you can feel the train banking when it makes a long curved turn, pretty neat! At Tokyo station, we got on the Narita airport express to go to the airport. We were plenty early for our fli...

A few things I've noticed during my first day in Japan, that I find interesting:Taxi drivers all wear suits, and Taxi doors automatically open for you.People are exceedingly friendly and customer service is better than any other place I've seen, yet people are not tipped. There is an obsession with things French. Lots of high-end boutique stores, cafes, and pastry shops utilize French names and language. It is considered rude to talk on your cell phone on buses or trainsMany places don't open u...

Waitiing at Narita Airport now, for my connecting flight back to the states.  What a great trip we had!  The food, the sights, the hotels....all wonderful.   I can't wait to tell you all about it, but not for 100 yen per 10 minutes at the airport internet cafe!  You'll just have to wait till I'm back home and settled in again.   Many stories to write, and hundreds of photos to upload.   See you soon!
