It's that time of year again. LB Jen and I have made a pact to re-visit New Orleans and eat til our fat girl in skinny bodies are about to burst! This time around her family we be joining us, as well as our friend April. We will be visiting Papa Twilight, who will be taking us to all the places off the beaten path, and showing us a grand ole time!

An impulsive ticket purchase has me jumping on a plane to visit Thailand in July! I will be visiting with my friends Dave and Angela, as Dave hangs out and visits his family before heading to Shanghai to live and teach English for the next two years. While it is an extremely short trip, I couldn't resist the opportunity!

Every Sunday, if I am in town, I head down to the beach to Lifeguard stand 17 (my lucky number) to relax, to read, and to watch the beautiful sunsets. Here are a couple of my favorites

The Jens and I head to Las Vegas for a quick weekend getaway. We meet up with our San Fran friends, who have hooked us up with a room at The Wynn. We enjoyed Friday night out at Moon (the Palms) and Saturday night out at Tryst (The Wynn). We ate fabulous food, enjoyed incredible shopping, and danced like we have never danced before. We love LAS VEGAS.

I am heading to Maui with my second family to spread the ashes of my mother's best friend, my second mother and a woman who made a tremendous impact on all of our lives. Her widow of 34 years Jack, Jake (son), Kelly (daughter), Damien and Sue's grand daughter Kaitlyn, Bob and I will be staying in Kihei, Hi. We will golf, fish, snorkel, swim, eat, drink and remember. I am excited to finally put her ashes in the place she loved the most, surrounded by her family.

Jen and I planned New Years 08 in Budapest, Hungary and from there we were open to do whatever we wanted to. So after spending the first day having fun in Munich, we hopped on the night train to Budapest, stayed for a couple days before heading to Bratislava, Slovakia and then night training it to Innsbruck, Austria to snowboard. It was a quick 8 days for me filled with crazy fun and great company!

Jen and I headed down to San Diego to meet up with some friends for dinner and then head to the 91X Christmas Show at the Cox Arena- featuring Angels and Airwaves and Bad Religion.

This our 3rd year participating in a 3 Day, 60 mile walk in support of raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. It starts in Del Mar at the Race Horse Track and ends in Petco Park, home of the Padres. We walk through many of the most beautiful places in San Diego, CA.

Jen invited me to join her in Vegas, the weekend before Halloween, while she worked on a school project on the Wynn Hotel. Feeling obligated to help her study- I flew out after work and we had the time of our life at several of the clubs/restaurants inside the Wynn Hotel

In El Salvador, after a Red Eye, pre-coffee. and waiting for my next flight to Belize. Being new on this deal, I couldn't figure out where to start with some of my journals, but figured having just turned 30, this trip entered in a new decade... yikes. =) Feel free to comment, ask questions, etc.
