put it this way...i lived in ireland for 23 years and i've hardly seen any of it! gotta go for a look around when i get back. i reckon thta you should give yourself at least two weeks to travel around, hire a car and get gps or a really good map. dublin's a good spot but you could do all the tourist stuff in a day or two if you push it, i prefer galway which is a much smaller city but a bit livelier and easier to get around. cork and kilkenny are nice places too but the best parts of ireland are probably the smaller towns and villages and the landscape on the west coast. get out the the aran islands too if you can and spend a few days out there.

The first time that I heard of Ireland was when my mum visited Ireland in 1993. That was the same time that I heard my first Enya record, and was absolutely impressed with her.
