Indio feliz.....mucho :) Jul 22, 2008
What a nice french-peruvian restaurant in Aguas Caliente. Just found by mistake but so happy to do that.
we just walked in the street with jenny and I asked something to a guy and, how is strange, I recognized his strong FR accent...ah ah ah....I'm good at this. He was french and the owner of Indio feliz. Very kind guy called Patrick, he showed us every part of his restaurant ( he's building a second floor ) what it was enough impressive...Good job Pat ;) At the beginning, we just wanna drink a beer ( cusquena malta of course :D ) because prices are pretty expensive ( I mean for Peru, the menu is 40NS - $15 - apetizer, entree, dessert ) and finally we ate, drunk and was totally worth it ;) So delicious food with such a nice presentation, we started by a tasty warm bread with butter ( ah ah ah so French ) and palta con papaya y aceite de oliva, then ginger chicken and finish by a yummy orange pie... I wanna do it again :))) don't miss it if you're going to Aguas calientes. |

In Indio Feliz you can taste really delicious food yes it is true a little expensive but you should try to visit this place if you are around Aguas Calientes. Patrick was so gentlman to explain us and show how he is making a new Bar/Restaurant there it was nice to talk with him . he really made a good job about his own restaurant Indio Feliz. |
