Most Memorable Travel Experience
Seeing Antonio Gaudi's work in Barcelona, Spain was indeed one of my favorites, but I've had so many wonderful travel experiences that I can't list them all!
Profile
My name is Hilary and I love travel and photography more than anything! The past two summers I have participated in a program called People to People Student Ambassadors. The fist summer took me to the Mediterranean coast where I spent three weeks embarking on adventures that I never thought I'd embark on! The second summer took me to the west coast of Australia where I snorkeled in The Great Barrier Reef and tried kangaroo meat for the first time. Thanks to Rotary International, I will be spending a whole school year in Germany. I am very gracious to have this opportunity to live half-way around the world for nine whole months! All in all, travel is amazing and I believe that people should travel abroad when ever they get the chance. By traveling, I have broadened my knowledge and gained cultural understanding. For further travels, I am hoping to visit Antarctica and Africa one day. My goal is to visit all seven continents and make life-long friends around the world. A couple of weeks ago, I attended a second rotary meeting. As you may know, I just found out that I am going to Germany for a whole year. I don't know where yet in Germany, but no matter where I go, I am soo excited for this coming August (which is most likely when I leave).
