Most Memorable Travel Experience
I must say that in 30 years of traveling I have had so many good times but I must say that the most important was meeting my girlfriend almost 5 years ago on a cruise ship. That has been the defining moment in my life. I have no favorite. How can you? There is good everywhere. Maybe seeing Antartica next year. All this was a dream for me when I was a child. Dreams sometimes come true

Today I am putting up pictures of Glacier Bay NP. This is the highlight of any cruise to Alaska but many do not go there. There is a new limit of two cruise ships a day. We had hoped to see a big piece break off but didn't. You do hear it moving and see a small crash into the water. The blue is amazing. Saw similar years ago in the Chilean Fjords and looking foward to going to Antartica next year in Dec

Skagway is on old Gold Rush Town that today lives for the hoardes that arrive each day on cruise ships. The town is preserved as it was when built. It is also the start of the White Pass and Yukon RR. Just a tourist train but passing through beautiful country.

Crator Lake is the deepest lake in the US as well as the third deepest in the world. The blue is just amazing. You can get down and take a boat out to one ofthe two islands but you have to get an early start as well as walk down quite a bit
