It started innocently enough; I visited Juneau, Alaska in June 1993 and explored the State Capitol building. A few months later, It was Montgomery, Alabama's. In the course of time, it became a hobby. Near the end it became a bit of an obsession. Then, in August of 2006, I visited my 50th US State Capitol building in Pierre, SD. (Yeh!) Yes, I know, I'm a geography nerd.... All entries are maintained in on the 'first visit' date.

A mostly urban exploration of Glasgow, Dublin and Edinburgh.

I caught a flight to a long-desired destination: Buenos Aires! continued to Uruguay, Chile and Peru from there.

Instead of my normal 'explorations', I came to Guanacaste province to just relax.....

My work often takes me to the beautiful nation of Qatar, and many surrounding nations. Although I've made this journey many times, I'll combine my blog into one specific time period.

I spent about 5 months here in 2005, training for my airline job. I was delighted to explore every neighborhood and try the local chili and beer....

After working on Antarctica, I took some time to explore the Natural Beauty of Kiwi-land.

In December of 2004 I made it to my final continent: Antarctica. I spent three weeks at McMurdo Scientific Station, and made a quick trip to the South Pole!

This trip focused primarily on Budapest, Hungary. But there were additional stops in Vienna, Nuremburg, Prague, Ceske Budvar and Frankfurt
