Airplane Tails

One of the things I enjoy doing while travelling is to see if I can identify the airliners passing though.  I don't really consider myself a plane spotter but I do like seeing them.

And I thought that maybe there are others who enjoy that as well and can make a game out of it.  So I thought I'd start with what I hope is a simple one....

Re: Airplane Tails

I usually get the nose of the plane so I can take note of the 2-3 character registry code.

Re: Airplane Tails

Nolan, I think the idea here is to post your airplane tail and have others guess the airline.
Good idea and more challenging than some of the other long lingering, repetitious and boring games, most especially: City game, city game 3.0, city game 4.0, Countries game, and Word Association game

Nice shot, Brian!

That would be Air Dolomiti.

Very good, Jeremy! First time I flew with them recently on flight from Munich to Lyon. Love that Italians let you exit and enter back of the airplane. Shot this from the transport bus to the terminal in Munich.

Guess it's kbz airlines, but not sure what country (not cheating by looking it up) - Interesting tail art though!

Re: Airplane Tails

Judging from the logo, it looks like Thailand or Myanmar.

Myanmar.

Occasionally the intricate logo is what makes the airplane tail more interesting. A bit difficult to identify from afar, though.
